Appendix
Appendix 1 to the agreement on the loan of a study computer Rules of procedure for computers and networks.
School rules of conduct: The computer is personal and may not be lent out. Maintenance and repair of the computer is handled by staff appointed by the school. The computer must be stored, transported and handled so that it is not exposed to abnormal wear, damage or risk of theft. It is not permitted to disclose your account name and/or password to another party. It is not permitted to force the security of the network in any way. As the network traffic on the school's devices is logged, all unauthorized attempts are thoroughly investigated. Between 08:00 and 16:30 Computer and Internet may only be used for teaching purposes Computer games and other programs that do not belong to the teaching may not be used during class time.
Otherwise, Sunet's ethical rules for computer use apply: It is a generally accepted principle in the academic world to keep the networks as open as possible. In order for this to happen, it is inevitable that certain ethical requirements are placed on the individuals who use the networks and on their activities. These ethical requirements do not differ very much from the other requirements placed on the citizens of a modern society. SUNET condemns as unethical when someone: 1) tries to access network resources without having the right to do so 2) trying to hide their user identity 3) attempt to disrupt or interrupt the intended use of the networks 4) clearly wastes available resources (personnel, hardware or software) 5) attempt to damage or destroy the computer-based information 6) invades the privacy of others 7) tries to insult or humiliate others.
Violation of rules of order for computers and networks. If the school rules for computers and networks are violated, the student will: 1) Receive a notice and the student's guardian is contacted. 2) In case of further offences, the student will be suspended from the school's network and will have limited opportunities to use the computer. 3) In the final stage, we will take the student's computer and the student will have to complete the school work without a computer.
